Things To Do
No matter the season, there are so many relaxing things to do right here at the bed and breakfast. Imagine getting away to a very luxurious setting close to many nature trails and historic sites but not needing to go anywhere. There is always bike riding, bass fishing, animal feeding, free range egg gathering, bird watching, star gazing, alpaca feeding, free movies and an array of other on site activities. Late spring to early fall there is the pool, paddle boating, butterfly gardens and berry picking. Cool evenings there is a fire pit to roast marshmallows or hot dogs. Wintertime bird watching becomes a bird show with feeders on the deck and dozens of cardinals and other bird shows. Christmas Time live cedar around the bannisters and mantles … you will experience an old fashioned real Christmas Season.
Below is a small sample of other things to do in the area. The list is really endless from wineries, parks, museums, caves and historic Civil War Battle Fields. We are less than one hour from The Kentucky Derby Museum, Churchill Downs and The Bourbon Trail. We are less than 2 hours of Mammoth Cave, the Kentucky Horse Park and many other spectacular places to visit in Kentucky and Southern Indiana.
